Oak Ridge Elementary School and Woodville Elementary School will reschedule their Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT) tomorrow, says Leon County Public Schools spokesman Chris Petley.
Both schools had started the administering process for the FCAT this morning when the power started flickering on and off due to the severe weather that passed over Tallahassee earlier today. No test had officially started at either school.
Because the FCAT is administered on the computer, both schools decided to hold off until after lunch to determine whether to continue with the testing process. Both are rescheduling the state comprehension test for tomorrow.
Both elementary schools will send an email tonight to inform parents of the situation.
