I received a reminder from viewer Richard Travis regarding a few more chances to view the International Space Station this weekend and early next week (Thanks Richard!).
Here's what I could find:
Friday 11/4 7:44 pm
Look to the NNW at 33 degrees above the horizon
Duration: 4 minutes
Saturday 11/5 8:24 pm
Look to the WNW at 33 degrees above the horizon
Duration: 2 minutes
Sunday 11/6 6:25pm
Look to the NW at 81 degrees above the horizon
Duration: 6 minutes
**This will likely be the best time to view it - a long duration and almost directly overhead.**
Tuesday 11/8 6:06 pm
Look to the WNW at 38 degrees above the horizon
Duration: 6 minutes
Skies are expected to be clear this weekend. You can see it just fine with your eyes (but binoculars will help a bit). No need for a telescope, but if you use one, be prepared to move it often as the ISS zips quickly across the sky.
Enjoy!
