The energy that is producing the rain and the severe weather threat is taking more of a southern route... that means the bulk of the activity is passing to our south. We can and should still see some rain this afternoon, but the potential for BIG downpours and dangerous weather is getting less and less likely - never a bad thing!
Keep checking in with us - find us on Facebook and Twitter - we'll keep updating!!!
The little lull in the rain will end this afternoon - likely before lunchtime in many areas. Clouds dominate this morning, any breaks of sunshine we see will be few and far between. Temps start near 60 and rise into the low and mid 70s.
The showers and storms that return later this morning and this afternoon will contain some downpours and some gusty winds. There is still the potential for some dangerous weather this afternoon too. Most of the action should be between 11 and 5, with very slow and gradual clearing to take place tomorrow.
The weekend forecast looks PERFECT for SPRINGTIME TALLAHASSEE or any outdoor plans.
