Been a busy weather day/night... things are still firing not too far away, but the line isn't nearly as impressive... many of the areas in Alabama that have had severe warnings late tonight are now no longer dealing with any severe weather - all the wind gusts are below 50mph and things look to continue that trend.
There have been 31 tornadoes counted by the SPC, with 14 to 20 injuries in Mississippi alone. And there have been numerous warnings all over the Gulf Coast States.
For the remainder of the overnight/early morning hours we expect to see the line of showers and storms continue east with potential for HUMDINGERS...
The TORNADO WATCH which includes the Western Half of our area is getting thinner but the hour, but is still there... There are enough conditions out there where something dangerous can still happen.
The window for our rain chances to perk back up is approaching.. 3-4 am in western areas thru 9-10am in the east... clearing and cooling will follow in the afternoon... gonna be frosty Thursday morning.. and breezy Wednesday afternoon!
there's LOTS on Twitter and Facebook... check us out for more!
