ISLAMABAD, (AP) --
Pakistani police say they have foiled a terror plot in the capital, arresting two suspects and seizing several explosives-laden vests and ammunition from a militant hideout.
Senior police officer Bani Yamin says authorities detained the
two suspects Saturday as they drove through the Shahzad neighborhood of Islamabad.
He says the men had concealed more then a dozen rockets, 12 hand
grenades and vests packed with explosives in their car and at an Islamabad home.
Yamin did not give further details and only said officers were still investigating. It was not clear what the suspects may have been targeting.
Islamabad and many of Pakistan's other major cities have witnessed scores of suicide and bomb attacks, most blamed on Taliban militants.

Been away for a while? Just askin'..? Been in a coma? Just one thought here Missus ALUMNI, there was no Chinook grounded, and a predator is like a gnat on the a** of a dog! It is meant to be recovered, or destroyed. How is it you have never heard-of the capture of a predator drone? In fact what made a hard landing in Pakistan was a stealth helicopter, and they DID IN FACT LET REPRESENTATIVES FROM THE PEOPLES REPUBLIC OF CHINA acknowledge these events, and investigate the wreckage! Hoodrats, just make my skin crawl! What's worse, is the ignorance...
We'll see if pakistan wants some help in its operations, I mean we should should still help them when they arent selling off our downed Chinooks and Preator drones to China.
Don't forget folks, these militants want to be our "friends." They were preparing to go out and kill as many innocent as possible. "More than a dozen rockets...12 hand grenades?" Hoodrats make my skin crawl!
