BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WCTV) -- Authorities in Bainbridge are investigating an armed robbery that occurred just before noon on Friday.

Bainbridge Public Safety said the incident happened at Port One Liquors at 504 Albany Road.

According to Deputy Director Frank Green, two black males armed with guns robbed the store and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.

BPS says two employees were working at the time of the robbery but there were no customers in the store.

The gunmen then took the keys to one of the employee’s vehicles and fled the scene. The stolen vehicle was found abandoned a short distance from the store.

BPS says a reward is being offered to anyone providing information leading to the identity and arrest of the two individuals. Anyone with information as to who may have committed this crime is asked to call Chief Investigator Larry Funderburke immediately at 229-248-2038.

We reached out to management at Port One Liquors, they tell us they are unable to comment on the incident at this time.
