DECATUR CO., Ga. (WCTV) -- Several South Georgia counties are recovering from a weekend storm.
In Decatur County, some residents only had broken tree limbs to pick up. Others experienced massive fallen trees.
Barber and Orange Streets saw some of the worst of Sunday's severe weather.
Many residents say they didn't think the storm was that bad until seeing the damage on Monday. Downed trees took out power lines and even struck vehicles in their neighborhood.
"I had limbs in my driveway that were keeping me from coming out, so we had to move them this morning before I could even drive out," says Carol Bagging.
Emergency management officials say most of the debris is now cleared.
Residents say while the piles of fallen trees and limbs look scary, they know it could have been worse and are happy their neighbors are safe.
