MILLER COUNTY, Ga. (WCTV) -- The Miller County Pirates turned in a 9-3 record a year ago in Class A, Region 1 and 2017 should see the team return to the postseason.
The Pirates return a plethora of key starters, including quarterback Dillon Johnson, who returns for his third year under center.
Following a nine-win campaign and with key pieces back, there's one goal for the Pirates - play well into December.
"Our seniors met with our team the other day. We have some great leadership," said Miller County head coach Brent Miller.
"They set expectations real high. I leave those goals to the team and what they talk about behind closed doors. I know our seniors will provide great leadership," Miller continued.
