Diesel Fuel Spill in Valdosta
Officials say about 20 gallons of diesel fuel has spilled at a gas station in Valdosta.

At 11:40a.m Valdosta Fire Department received a call that about 20 gallons of diesel fuel had spilled at the Big Foot Travel Plaza located at 1808 West Hill Avenue near Highway 84.
Officials say the cause of the spill was a drain line from the gas pump to a tank located in the back of a gas station got clogged and started backing up so the fuel ran into the storm water in the back.
It will take officials a few more hours to clean it up.
The gas station in the plaza is closed at this time.
No injuries were reported.

GREAT JOB IN REACTING TO THE SPILL! COULD HAVE BEEN A WORSE SITUATION IF NOT FOR THE RESPONSE OF VALDOSTA FIRE DEPARTMENT AND THE CITY OF VALDOSTA WORKERS! GREAT JOB! OH, THANKS ED & LOOKING GOOD IN THE WADERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
