This afternoon residents lined East Jackson Street to protest the proposed health care bill. The group calls themselves the Freedom Line. They say they believe the bill is unconstitutional and is too expensive.
Other residents showed up in support of the health care bill. They say people should read the bill before protesting against it.
Fred Heivilin says, "The manner that they are trying to pass the bill is illegal and unconstitutional and I think that even worse they're following the wrong priorities".
Rosa Lovejoy says, "I admire president Obama's courage and I think that he's not getting a fair shake. I support the health care reform. I don't agree with everything in it but no bill is ever perfect.
Officials say about 2 million Georgians are without health insurance and about 15 percent of the state cannot access primary health coverage.
