ATLANTA (AP) -- Georgia authorities have arrested 67 suspects and
seized more than 300 computers in the aftermath of a three-month
child pornography crackdown.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says the arrests are the
result of the January crackdown, in which search warrants were
executed in 35 counties throughout the state.
The sting, dubbed Operation Restore Hope, is designed as a
follow-up to an operation last year in which 27 people were
arrested and more than 100 computers seized.
It homed in on computer users who share child pornography online
for free, using peer-to-peer software.
