Murder Case Returns to Court

Local officials say a double homicide case involving a Thomas County woman and her son is set to return to the Grand Jury Monday.

Authorities say in April 2007, Timothy James shot and killed his wife and 16-year-old stepson inside their Thomas county home.

James has been indicted in the double homicides, but the assistant District Attorney says the case will return to the Grand Jury because of technical changes.

The assistant DA also says several of James's relatives charged with hindering his apprehension are scheduled to stand trial sometime in the near future.
