28-year-old Jeremy Bennett, a former teacher at Sallas Mahone elementary school was indicted back in November on two counts of sexual battery and one count of child molestation.

The incidents were alleged to have happened while Bennett was a teacher at the school.

We're told after about three hours of deliberation Bennett was found not guilty on all counts.

"Jeremy Bennett has dedicated his late teen years, his adult years to working with children, he's very much a Christian young man as was put forth by all our our character witnesses," says defense attorney Charles Wetherington.

Bennett released a statement saying he forgave the children who made the allegations.
