Families gathered together throughout Reed Bingham State Park to celebrate with dad.
The park has a lake that covers 400 acres, and several families fished and ventured on a guided canoe tour.
Although the scenery is picturesque, one man says something else is better.
Bud Hutchinson says, "The family is what's really important here, and being able to go out and see wildlife and be with them and enjoy it with them is what life's really all about."
On the guided canoe tour, visitors got up close to deer, turtles and even alligators.
