Local Courthouse Evacuated from Multiple Bomb Threats

A little before 9 a.m. Monday morning, local law enforcement officials say a bomb threat was called into the courthouse in Thomas County.

Everyone was asked to evacuate the building, that was searched by Sheriff's Investigators, Thomasville Police, and local K-9 officers. The Thomasville Fire Department and EMS officials are also currently on scene as of 10:30 a.m.

Investigators say two more bomb threats were called in. The building was evacuated a total of two times, and investigators are still searching for those responsible.
