Police Search For Two Brothers Suspected of Deadly Home Invasion in Brooks County, GA

Sheriff Mike Dewey announced today that although many leads have been received the Brooks County Sheriff’s Office and the GBI still actively searching for 24-year-old Derrick Styles and his 29-year-old brother, Michael Styles in the shooting death of Alberto Lemus. “We have received many phone calls from individuals who have given us information on the possible location of Derrick and Michael,” stated Sheriff Dewey. “Both suspects have been charged in the death of Alberto Lemus, a local dairy worker who hard working and respected in the community among his peers,” Dewey continued.

Derrick Styles is 5’ 7”, approximately 110 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes. His brother, Michael Styles, is 5’11” and weighs approximately 160 lbs. These individuals are believed to be riding in a Four Door Black Avalon with Georgia tag number WF31Z0. Both Suspects are considered armed and dangerous.

Police need your help in catching two brothers suspected of a deadly home invasion in Brooks County.

Authorities believe 24-year-old Derrick Styles and his brother 26-year-old Michael Styles are connected to the weekend shooting death of 62-year-old Alberto Lemus who was found murdered in his home outside of Quitman.

Both men are considered armed and dangerous.

Two other men, 29-year-old Cornell Stephens and 24-year-old Lamar Jones have already been arrested for the crime. Both are being charged with murder.
