Moody AFB, GA - New leadership has taken over at Moody Air Force Base.

During a Change of Command Ceremony Wednesday, Col. Samuel Milam relinquished command of the 93d Air Ground Operations Wing.

Accepting command, Col. Joseph Locke, who has served under Milam as Vice Commander. Locke says he is in a unique position, to be moving up without having to move bases.. and also to be assuming command from his direct superior.

"I don't feel like I need to make any big changes, the real thing, is keeping the momentum going that we do have, and really accepting the changes that are going on in the Department of Defense, as well as the withdrawl from Afganistan", says Locke.

Locke says he isn't worried about those changes. He says Moody is lucky to have a Rescue Wing and the Air Ground Operations Wing, that are both central to the Air Force.
