Body Found in Valdosta Motel

Valdosta, GA - The Valdosta Police Department has confirmed that a body was found at the Jolly Inn in Valdosta.

The 48 year old white male had been staying at the Jolly Inn for the last year. The Inn contacted the Valdosta Police Department to do a welfare check, after not hearing from him for several days. That's when they discovered the man had died. His death appears to have been of natural causes. At this time, there are no signs of foul play and drugs do not appear to have been a factor.

Valdosta Police are withholding the man's identity until they can notify the family.
