THOMASVILLE, Ga. -- Main Street is bringing back First Fridays in Downtown Thomasville. The event will be held on the First Friday of every month throughout the fall.

Each month will feature a different musical act in various areas of downtown Thomasville.

“The office of Main Street and Tourism is thrilled to be bringing back First Fridays to downtown Thomasville,” says Karen Smith, Executive Director of Main Street and Tourism. “These events create a sense of community and togetherness that not only benefits Thomasville residents, but encourages visitors to make Thomasville a shopping, dining, and entertainment destination. We look forward to the positive economic impact these events will undoubtedly bring to the downtown area.”

August’s event will be held in the 200 block of North Broad Street and will feature 2 local high school bands, the TU Dance Team, and local favorite, Root 3:16. Band boosters from both high schools will be selling bottled water and canned drinks during the event (cash only).
