Leon County, FL - After a three day long manhunt investigators have caught up with 37 year-old Karonn Skinner in Tallahassee.

Skinner is charged with armed robbery and is accused of holding a Bishop's Travel Center employee at gunpoint, before taking off on a stolen motorcycle, with hundreds of dollars on Tuesday afternoon.

"The U.S. Marshal Services made contact with him, where he was hiding out at an apartment complex near a dumpster. He actually had in his possession some stolen properties from the stolen motorcycle on him. He had the keys with him," said Captain Chip Nix with Decatur County Sheriff's Office.

After looking over surveillance video, investigators now believe Skinner could be the man behind another recent armed robbery, which also occurred during broad daylight. This time at a Family Dollar in Camilla, Georgia.

The employee said when the man approached the counter, he lifted his shirt to show her a gun, then calmly told her to hand over the cash. She says she was in total shock and was so shaken up, she could hardly open the register. The suspect was able to get away with around $400.

"I was just really upset and flabbergasted that this thing would happen in broad daylight," said longtime Camilla resident Bonnie Kelly. " It was just alarming that it would happen here, right under us."

Investigators are still looking for the second suspect involved in the Bishop's armed robbery.

Decatur County, GA- Tammy Gilmore is back to work just 24 hours after her terrifying encounter.

"My kids and my grandson, they were running through my mind; that I might not see them again," she said.

Gilmore said shortly before 2:30 Monday afternoon, two unmasked men came into Bishop's Travel Center in Decatur County, demanding money.

Surveillance video released by Decatur County Deputies shows the men pacing the aisles before approaching the counter.

"I thought he was going to shoot me, you know, cause he had it aimed at me, no mask on, like he didn't care," Gilmore said.

The two men were spotted at a Dairy Queen in Cairo shortly before the robbery. A man in the area recognized the suspects' ride of choice as his own.

"The motorcycle had been stolen a few weeks prior from Gadsden County," explained Captain Chip Nix, chief investigator with the Decatur County Sheriff's Office. "He confronted the two black males. The confrontation kind of got verbal, there was a little intimidation going on and they fled the scene."

The suspects were last seen in downtown Quincy. At a meeting Tuesday morning, Decatur County Deputies met with Gadsden County Deputies to see if anyone recognized the men.

Major Shawn Woods with the Gadsden County Sheriff's Office said the suspects did look familiar to some of the investigators.

"Actually they saw several people that they thought matched the description, so we will run down those leads, but right now that's kind of where we are at in the investigation," Woods said.

Gilmore says she is happy to be alive and hopes justice will be served.

"I am thankful, by the grace of God to be alive and that nobody was hurt and hopefully I did the right thing."

Anyone with information should contact the Decatur County Sheriff's Office at (229) 248-3044. A reward is being offered for any information that leads to their arrest.
