Live Oak, FL - It's been just about six months since Tropical Storm Debby swept through much of our viewing area and some folks are still waiting for life to get back to normal.

One road in Live Oak, Florida has been closed ever since the storm because of a massive sinkhole. But it's just about to re-open.

It's at the intersection of Houston Avenue and Maple Street. Now that it's all patched up it just needs some dirt and asphalt. The road should be paved by sometime next week.

"It's pretty rough because this is a short cut into town and it's putting a lot more gas mileage on people's vehicles," said Anthony Kelly, who lives in a house nearby.

The sinkhole will cost more than $400,000 to fix. The city of Live Oak is on the hook for 20% of that. The rest is picked up by the Department of Transportation.
