"I got an e-mail at 9:05 that my flight was leaving at 9:45, well I live an hour and a half from the airport I couldn't possibly make that and they somehow salvaged the flight and got me here," said Mark Darden.

Mark Darden was one of the lucky ones. His flight from Raleigh to Atlanta to Tallahassee made it just fine.

"My flight had been all screwed up and she managed to resurrect it and get me down here to see my brother whose ailing and it was a very important trip to me," said Darden.

But, many others aren't so lucky. Cold weather has caused many flights to and from Atlanta and Charlotte for the Tallahassee airport to be cancelled Tuesday.

"We've gotten a lot of phone calls, folks asking a lot of questions," said Jim Durwin.

Atlanta and Charlotte Flights for Wednesday are also seeing cancellations. So, it's best to stay up-to-date on your flight status.

"The easiest way is typically to go on the airline's website or you can call them at their toll free numbers and get the latest information on your flight," said Jim Durwin.

Joey De Leon had his flight from Los Angeles with a connection in Atlanta cancelled...but he and his bandmates were able to find an another one.
