Boston, Georgia- August, 29, 2012

It's the twenty first race for the Emmy Award winning show The Amazing Race which has been entertaining America since 2001. Now for the first time one local couple from Boston, Georgia will fight to the finish line. Rob and Kelly French beat out the competition and will join this season's cast.

Many from the community are happy to see their city get some attention. One local resident said "it will do lots for Boston!" Another said "it will be able to help the economy, help everybody."

A third Boston resident, Diane Blow, said "I think it's great. We're from a very small area. A lot of people when we talk to them, they don't know where we're located and any attention that we can get to let people know that we exist around here.. we're all for it. And we wish them lots of luck."

Luck isn't the only thing residents have to give... advice is also on the table.

Michael Wyche said "Run! Run! Run! Pray and run like a deer. That's our motto in Boston!"

Diane Blow went on to say "Just remember that it's a game and whatever happens they still have each other."

But whatever comes their way... These two are pretty tough... both of them were professional monster truck drivers before joining the show. The premier of the Amazing Race is Sunday night September 30th at 8PM on WCTV.
