Man Walks To Every Capital In America For Veterans

Valdosta, GA - Can you imagine walking to every state Capital in the country? Well Mac McQuown sure can. He's doing it!

McQuown is an ex-marine raising awareness for wounded and homeless veterans. He's making the 15,000 mile trek for the non-profit organization "Silver Star Families Of America".

Despite the grueling cold and blistered toes he's been walking almost a year and a half now.

"So I came to the conclusion that every state in America produces veterans. So what better way to show respect to those veterans and bring a necessary and overdue light back to them than to walk to all 50 capitals," McQuown said.

He's just leaving Tallahassee and now he's on his way to Atlanta.
