Thomas County, GA -- May 21, 2012 --
Thomas County deputies are on the hunt for the person or persons who had an active meth lab brewing.
Deputies say a tip led them to a residence on the east side of Thomas County around 10:00 Monday morning.
That’s where they found chemicals actively mixing, as if they were making methamphetamine.
The operation was set up inside a structure on the property.
Deputies are not disclosing the exact location at this time, but they do say they’re following leads in the case.
The cleanup took all day and deputies plan to return to the site in the morning.
