New Website Promotes Tourism In Brooks County

Quitman, Georgia is a picture of small town America and its residents want you to see for yourself.

The group 'Destination Brooks' in Brooks County built a new website. It's called 'visitbrookscounty.com.

They've been working on it for two years with the help of 'H-Two-Marketing' in Valdosta. The idea is to show off all of Brooks Counties' finer points to attract more tourism.

"When you go to 'visitbrookscounty.com' take a look at the community page. It'll tell you a little bit about Quitman and Brooks County. Check out the listing of restaurants. All the things to do. There's a great blog application where you can go in and read some stories about our county," said Lauren Basford, president of Destination Brooks.
