Police: Rape Suspects Targeting Homeless Women

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- Authorities are investigating after several homeless women have been the victims of sexual assault in Jacksonville.

Another victim was assaulted Friday after authorities say a man came up behind her, knocked her down, dragged her to another location and raped her. It's the fourth time in three months that a homeless woman has been targeted.

A report says a suspect has been arrested in one of the cases and authorities are investigating whether he may be connected to the other crimes. Authorities said the cases have similarities.

Fifty-six year-old Jerry Gallion turned himself into police after a woman who survived an attack in February identified him.
