Quitman Police need your help to catch a murder suspect.
Police have been on the hunt all week trying to find out who shot and killed a man who was walking home from a convenience store.
Police say 31 year old Frandcy Lodimis was walking in the street around 1 a.m. early Sunday morning. At some point in his trip from the Flash Foods convenience store to home he became the victim of a deadly shooting.
"Officers responded to that call. They got there and found the body laying on the roadway," said Wesley Ross, Quitman's Chief Of Police.
It happened in a neighborhood on South Madison Street. Lodomis was shot once in the stomach.
He was rushed to South Georgia Medical Center where he later died around 8:30 a.m. that morning. Now Police are putting together the pieces to put someone behind bars.
As of Thursday night no arrests have been made. But there are a number of 'persons of interest' in the case.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Quitman Police Department. And they can do so anonymously.
