Thomasville P.D. Cracking Down on Aggressive Drivers While Students are on Break

Thomasville, FL -- March 29, 2012 --

Thomasville students will be on spring break starting Monday.

For the Police Department, this means more cars on the road and a warning to people to be safe.
Police will be ramping up patrols to try and crack down on aggressive and drunk driving.

"We are looking for D-U-I operators, people driving the vehicle under the influence of alcohol, people who are don't have valid drivers license, suspended license, expired license, no insurance," said Lt. Eric Hampton of the Thomasville Police Department.

Police are encouraging all drivers to be extra careful on the road and to remember to never text and drive.
