Valdosta Armed Robbery

On November 6, 2012 at approximately 2:42 hours, the Valdosta Police Department responded to the Race Way Convenience Store at 1408 N. St. Augustine Road in reference to the report of an Armed Robbery.

Officers arrived and spoke to the clerk, Muzaffar Khusnidione, who stated that two men entered the store, one with a handgun, and demanded the money. Khusnidione described the offenders as one white male in his early to mid 20s with a slim build and one African American male in his early to mid 20s with a medium build.

Khusnidione advised that both were wearing hoodies and had bandanas over their faces. A detective from the Valdosta Police Department Person’s Crime Unit and a Crime Scene Technician from the Valdosta-Lowndes Crime Lab responded to investigate. According to investigations the incident was captured on the store surveillance cameras.

No one was hurt during the incident and the offenders left the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
