After receiving several complaints about suspicious activity at 1822 Claudia Circle, the Valdosta Police Department Narcotics Unit conducted an investigation which led to the execution of a search warrant yesterday, May 21, 2014 at that residence. During the search warrant the unit seized over $4,220 in US Currency, 270 grams of marijuana with a street value of $5,400, and approximately 15.2 grams of cocaine with a street value of $1,500. They also seized numerous prescription narcotics with a street value of approximately $530, and two handguns, (one of which was reportedly stolen out of Perry, Ga.). Patricia Howard, African American female, 33 yoa, and Clifton Gay, African American male, 32 yoa, were arrested at the residence. They are both facing charges to include Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Tools for the Commission of a Crime, Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, and Possession of Schedule II Narcotics with the Intent to Distribute. Further charges are pending.
