Posted: 01/26/2009 - Seventeen Valdosta State student-athletes compiled a perfect 4.00 grade point average during the Fall 2008 semester, according to an announcement made by Athletics Director Herb Reinhard. The 17 4.00 GPA’s tied the previous single semester record for the Athletic Department. Additionally, 133 student-athletes tallied a 3.00 GPA while 53 were named to VSU’s Dean’s List. The department-wide cumulative GPA during the semester was 2.68.
