Bainbridge-Cairo Game Will Not Happen

Posted: 08/26/2008 - The Bainbridge Bearcats and the Cairo Syrupmakers will have to wait until next year before they meet on the gridiron. The game between the two schools was to open play for Georgia High School football but Tropical Storm Fay made it impossible to play on Saturday and then the rescheduled Monday matchup also ended up being washed out. Now the two teams will not meet this year in the regular season.
