HOLIDAY, Fla. (AP) --
A Pasco County pedestrian was killed when a motorcycle crashed and flipped off the road into him.

The Florida Highway Patrol reports that 20-year-old Joshua H.
Cross was speeding past cars on his motorcycle in Holiday Monday
evening when one of the cars turned in front of him. The impact
flipped the bike several times and sent it toward the shoulder,
where 53-year-old Richard K. Dickens was standing.

Dickens was taken to a Tarpon Springs hospital, where he died.
Cross was seriously injured in the crash. The driver of the car
sustained minor injuries.

FHP says charges were pending.
