ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) --
Authorities say they didn't search the Universal Orlando theme park after a caller made a vague bomb threat this week.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, Orlando police Lt. Eric Smith
said the threat happened Thursday night. Authorities were
investigating, but police say it wasn't practical to search the
theme park's entire grounds and Universal officials didn't request
such a search.

An e-mail sent to a Universal spokesman was not immediately
returned early Friday morning, nor was a telephone message left for
an Orlando police spokeswoman.

Universal's new attraction, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter,
is scheduled to open to the public Friday. The minipark is located
inside Universal's Islands of Adventure theme park.
