This image from video provided by BP PLC early Sunday June 6, 2010 shows the oil leak still pouring out of the well head around the capping device in the Gulf of Mexico. Coast Guard Adm. Thad Allen said Saturday that after its first full day of work, the cap placed on the gusher near the sea floor trapped about 252,000 gallons of oil, which is somewhere between a quarter to half of the oil flowing from the well, according to government estimates. It's nearly impossible to avoid the live video of the coal-gray oil gushing from BP's well a mile below the Gulf of Mexico's surface and a poll shows most Americans have seen it.

Now, some are wondering if the Gulf oil leak cam could engulf
President Barack Obama?

The video is a daily reminder that two months after the oil rig
explosion BP still hasn't plugged its well. A new AP-GfK Poll shows
that so far people are more upset with BP than with the president.

But, some political observers say, if the crude continues to
flow, those images could become a symbol of Obama's inability to
fix not only the spill but also the economy.
