Tallahassee, FL - The Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus is drawing crowds at the Tallahassee-Leon County Civic Center with performances lasting through Sunday.
There will be plenty of elephants, clowns, high-wire acts and jugglers. But the "fully charged, gold edition" also includes what's called a "globe of steel."
It's a 12-foot diameter ball where three motorcycle riders compete for riding space at full throttle.
The Lopez family has spent decades perfecting this act. Maria Lopez, a mother of three is one of the riders. She also is the fearless "target" for her father-in-law's knife throwing act!
Performances will be Friday night at 7pm, Saturday at 3pm and 7pm, and Sunday at 1pm and 5pm
