Nine Visitor Information Centers are featuring songs performed by big Georgia artists like Little Richard, Ray Charles and Trisha Yearwood.

Popular songs from these artists are played on outdoor speakers for the tourist's educational enjoyment.

Rasheem McLeod stopped by at a center on his route to New Jersey.

McLeod says, "When tourists get out here, they wanna see what is that town or what is that city or state made of, and you get to hear a lot of local people, you know, music is different no matter where you go."

Twelve million travelers came to these centers last year.
