Thomasville Police say 38 year old Gregory Robinson of Robinson's Ministries, had taken in a 21 year old woman at the Habitat for Humanity residence where he lived in Thomasville.
Investigators say Robinson kicked the woman and all of her belongings out, and then she filed a restraining order against him.
"She was referred to the shelter by the police department and was helped with getting a temporary protective order and she was out working when he spotted her," said Lt. Karen Murray, Investigator for the Thomasville Police Department.
Authorities say Robinson forced the woman into his car and drove her back to the house where he chased her inside, breaking down the door.
Investigators say Robinson has an extensive criminal record and already had a temporary protective order against him, filed by his wife.
Robinson is now being charged with aggravated stalking, battery and criminal trespassing. He remains in the Thomas County Jail and has been denied bond.
