New Mexican Pueblo Indian potter Jody Naranjo has spent the last two days in Thomasville teaching area students rarely seen century old Indian pottery techniques.
Naranjo ranks at the top of the international collector's list and says she truly enjoys traveling the country introducing young people to her unique art form.
"I'm teaching kids maybe something that they might want to play with themselves giving them an idea of something new to try and also bringing in a new culture for them in the meantime," said Jody Naranjo.
Students from Bishop Hall Charter School and Thomas University took part in the hands on teaching of Pueblo pottery.
The traditional art form has been passed down from generation to generation for more than 400 years.
