This year the fair features a number of new kiddie rides and even a 75 foot ferris wheel.
Folks can come out and enjoy the animals, the Demolition Derby and a number of tasty treats.
Last year 19,000 people showed up to the event and organizers are expecting even more this year.
"Our revenue from the rides have gone up a little bit each year even thought its a tough economy people are not taking a long vacation to Disney and Hawaii and such they are coming to their hometown fair," said Robert Briggs, General Manager of Modern Midways.
The fair is held at the Thomasville Exchange Club Fairgrounds from 6:00pm to 10:00pm and will run through Saturday night.
