Doctors who make house calls are not completely a thing of the past.
Some bringing their exam rooms with them.
One doctor's office on wheels is a three room, 38 foot, $350,000 mobile medical center.
What can happen in a doctor's office can happen there.
Doctor Randy Christensen of Phoenix Children's Hospital is putting this to good use.
Every weekday the van gives free medical care to homeless kids from infants to those age 24.
The quarters are tight, but they've made a big difference.
Dr. Christensen says over the years, after kids visit the van, those kids go to the ER less often and that saves money for everybody.
