In today's health matters, a community is rallying behind a 10-year-old fighting leukemia. The little girl is in need of a bone marrow transplant. Hundreds are hoping to help.

Chenee Cayco loves to give hugs, especially since one of these people could save her life. Hundreds lined up at a recent bone marrow drive for the 10-year old fighting leukemia.

After two years of fighting the aggressive cancer using chemotherapy and radiation, doctors say Chenee now needs a bone marrow transplant.

Finding a bone marrow match is hard to begin with. Often even family members will not work. But it's especially difficult for minorities like the Caycos to find a donor.

Filipinos alone make up less than one-percent of people on the national marrow donor registry.
