In today's health matters, nearly nine percent of US adults use some form of illegal drugs.

A report by the US Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration says more than 22 million Americans were using illegal drugs in 2010.

Marijuana was the most popular recreational drug while Methamphetamine and Cocaine use dropped from previous surveys.

People using prescription drugs for non-prescription uses remained steady. The largest increase in drug users was in the 18 to 25 age group.

Researchers also discovered those who need drug abuse help aren't getting it.
