We've certainly felt our share of heat already.
Here are some suggestions how to keep your cool this summer.
If air conditioning is not an option, or you're wanting to save money, windows on the sunny side should always stay closed.
If you have shades, draw the shade down and wrap the curtain around it, too.
The idea is to move air on the shaded side of the house and that's where window fans come in.
You can take a fan and put it in the window to blow toward the shadier side of the home.
If you have a window air conditioning unit, like your fan, put that on the shady side of the house, too.
These are just a couple easy things you can do to keep the heat out and the air moving even on the hottest of summer days.
