In today's health matters, one YMCA is teaming up the recreation department for a weight loss contest for kids.

Organizers in Galesburg, Illinois say it's all about getting getting the kids up and moving. "The Great Galesburg Weight Race" was created to help kids and parents focus on skipping the happy meals and get their muscles moving.

The kids will be divided into three age groups and be weighed in each week so they can track their progress.

The program costs six bucks to join and families will get to use certain fitness centers for free on certain days of the week.
