Gluten Free Cookie Cream Dessert


1/2 stick of softened butter

1 - 8 ounce cream cheese

1 cup confectioner's sugar

3 1/2 cups milk

2 boxes of French vanilla instant pudding

12 ounces Cool Whip

1 package gluten free chocolate cream cookies


Cream butter and cream cheese. Add the confectioner's sugar and mix together for at least 3 minutes. In another bowl combine pudding and milk and mix for 2 minutes. After it begins to thicken, add cool whip and mix well. Combine both mixtures thoroughly. In a food processor chop the cookies until they look like dirt. Start with a layer of cookie crumbles then add a layer of the creamed mixture. Continue to alternate layers finishing with cookie crumbles on top. Refrigerate.

Suggestions for serving this old family favorite are: use containers such as trifle bowls or individual serving bowls; clay flower pots with fake flowers; top with a few gummy worms.
