FAMU Football Still High From FAMU Homecoming Week; On to Another

Homecoming was a success for the FAMU rattlers, but now the Orange & Green will get back on the MEAC road...

They're headed to Baltimore for some revenge against the Mo-State Bears. It's a 4pm matchup against Morgan State- a team that beat FAMU last season at Bragg Stadium--a game that wound up being what prevented the Rattlers from postseason in 2008.

Now wth 5 victories on the year, 3 against the MEAC, FAM will set their fangs on the remaining 4 games on the schedule... Although at FAMU's football weekly press conference, it was clear the team hadn't forgotten about last week's Homecoming experience.

"The thing that impressed me is that they came from far and near. In my mind, when I looked around, the stadium was packed. Then I understand there was another 25-30 thousand in the parking lots, so 50-60 thousand people on this campus, beautiful day, it was just a great day." said FAMU Head Football Coach Joe Taylor
