FSU Football Wins Offensive Explosion!!!

FSU Homecoming 2009... The Noles have averaged 29.9 points per game this season and were looking to treat the hometown fans to a big win over NC State, and a second straight victory in the ACC...

They did just that in a high scoring treat for the fans on Halloween afternoon... 45-42 FSU beats the Wolfpack.

The game went back and forth like a heavyweight fight. Both team defenses were torched.

Jermaine Thomas scored on 2 rushing TDs. Chris Thompson scored on 2 rushing TDs.

Christian Ponder took a helmet to his lower left side while scrambling for a first down in the 2nd quarter. The hit injured his ribs, but the redshirt junior remained in the game.

Other FSU touchdowns included a 16-yard pass to Rod Owens, and an end around for 3 yards by Bert Reed.

The win is FSU's 4th of the season and their 2nd straight in ACC play.
