Got Game: November Sports

Sports talent in the month of november is almost as customary as thanksgiving dinner... North florida & south georgia cranks up all kinds of top tier competition, leaving us drooling over the athletics feast.

The table is set for some tasty competition this month... There's the FSU soccer team kicking into ACC tournament action. They've put together another Powerhouse season with just 3 losses all year. There's also volleyball action in the mix as regular seasons wind down on both sides of the border... Lady Noles are ranked 16th in the nation--their highest in school history. The ladies host Duke this Friday... The FAMU volleyball team continues to hold a dominance over the MEAC. Orange & Green are back in action this Sunday at Bethune Cookman before returning to the capital city on the 15th to take on Norfolk State. Don't forget about the Valdosta State Volleyball team, they finish out the regular season with a pair of home matches this Friday and Saturday against West Florida and West Alabama respectively.

Then there's the hoops season... FAMU gets started this Friday against Tuskegee... The Valdosta State blazers played last Sunday against FSU and despite the loss are bouncing well in exhibition play.

The TCC lady eagles lost a nailbiter Tuesday night to Santa Fe, but showed a ton of reason to be excited... And then there's Coach Sue and FSU... Planning both a charity can-drive and a successful start to the season.
